The Chapman Law School Career Services and Professional Development Office is proud to Introduce the E-Mentor Program!

The Chapman Law School E-Mentor Directory will be a listing of practicing attorneys who are available to provide quick advise to students on practice trends and tips, and other career related topics via e-mail. The time commitment will be a brief response to a student e-mail inquiry. As an E-Mentor, attorneys will help current students avoid some of the pitfalls and perils commonly faced by new lawyers. Attorneys can also stay or become connected to Chapman Law School and develop contacts with current students (who will soon be practicing themselves) as well as Chapman alumni which can be both personally and professionally rewarding.

How will the E-Mentor Directory work? The attorney's name, practice area and e-mail information will be included in a private database accessible to current Chapman Law School students only. As a student seeks career counseling and needs specialized advice in a specific practice area, the student would have the opportunity to send a very short e-mail to the attorney regarding that attorney's area of practice.

If you would like to make a gift of your time and experience by becoming an E-Mentor, simply email August Farnsworth at afarnswo@chapman.edu. Please include your name, practice area, work address, work phone number and e-mail address and we will include you in the E-Mentor Directory.

Chapman Law students will be introduced to this program this fall!
